Every time I've tuned into an Isles game this year, they've actually looked bad defensively and been getting bailed out by their goalie, lots of scoring chances for the other team in dangerous areas, very different team from the Trotz-coached one.


Agree with Bruins though, that's a hell of a team.

But we don’t sign the contracts. I still remember Benning rolling his eyes when a fan asked him about trading Ryan Miller. They don’t give a poop about what’s posted online by fans about moves. Sbisa got shat on by the fans during his first year here and they signed him for 2 years at 3.6M per year after that.

I’m pretty sure if they polled this fanbase on who to sign, Miller vs Horvat that Horvat would win in a landslide.

Did you know

The Boston Bruins, who are the best team in the NHL and the 2nd highest scoring team in the league, have only 1 player in the top 50 of scoring leaders, yet a dud team like the Oilers have the 2 top scoring leaders, yet are barely in a playoff position, playing in what is easily the weakest division in the league.

The Bruins are also the team that has allowed the fewest goals against.

How can that be possible, being a high scoring team and the best defensive team, at the same time?
