I really hope they pay the price for their smug way of doing business. Someone should have asked Allvin if he was aware national media and his peers are laughing at them.

They’ve been trying to do the same thing, under Aquilini’s direction I suspect, for how many years now. They don’t deserve our money or support! Aquilini specifically. We all love the game though, so it’s a fun talking point to come in here and blast them.

For Horvats sake I hope his agent doesn't negotiate in season, won't talk extension with other teams in a trade scenario. Canucks are forced to take the best offer or merely sit on the fence, and he walks into free agency.

I think the game has passed them both by. What used to work, regarding building, just doesn’t anymore. Rutherford had a foundation both in Carolina and Pittsburg, he doesn’t in Vancouver. You have to evolve. Maybe Rutherford has, we’re not privy to what direction he’s been given from Aquilini. Who knows. Until I see what trades they make leading up to the TDL, I’m going to believe they’re going to muck this up.

100% The game has passed them by, and then you have Allvin who's merely a better spoken version of Jim Benning. Silence speaks volumes, this group underestimated how messed up the team was and don't have the resources to fix them. That leaves you in wait and see mode, where we are today.

No team is going to give up a younger, cheaper, better version of anything the Canucks are selling because those teams also have a salary cap and want to be better. The only way to get those guys now is to draft them.

Agree, such a great back and forth match. Penalty kicks now, which is poopty, but extra time was unbelievable!
