I recall him saying when he signed his last deal in VAN he wanted to be part of a winning team moving forward. Don't think he's a slam dunk to re-sign in VAN.

This core peaked with them though. So if anything they got rid of the wrong guys or failed to replace them.

Usually you try to get better once you lose in the playoffs, not take 2 steps back and say “well I’m glad we aren’t losing in the playoffs anymore”

If they let Bo walk and sign Toews to replace him, I'll be annoyed too. It's not a Tanev specific thing, it's a process thing.

If the replacements are younger/cheaper, then I can live with them being worse. But not OEL/Myers poop that only digs them deeper into the hole

I have come to terms that this team is a bubble team. Has been for years and will be for years. It is a lot less stressful.

The owner will not start over and try again. I have accepted it and am a lot less enthusiastic and a lot less hopeful.

With that I have only watched about five games this year and crowds are getting restless. My two sons have stopped watching them and following them all together.

They just locked in JTM long term and have OEL long term, I would not be too hopeful of a magic wand being waved and everything fixed.
