If picking 10 to 12 then this entire Mgmt deserves to be fired. The middle is truly the worst place to be in a draft.

I do like this Petey Kuzmenko relationship and hope Kuz realizes when he signs, he looks very good playing alongside EP not some other center. Could be years of fun. Sorry Rubes, I like the duo.

I agree usually but this draft is deep 1st round. After that is luck & scouting still.

Why so sad? Pouty had a fantastic game last night, the rest of the team didn't.

It may be a deep draft and we won't know for sure for some years but regardless the mgmt groups still has not learnt that you need to either win a lot of games or lose a lot of games to have a good franchise.

No need to apologize.

I am not going to get my hopes up, but Pouty is showing some nice signs of improving his game and maturity.
They interviewed him during training camp and it was obvious he had hit the gym in the off-season, as you could see that his twigs for arms had developed muscle and his chest was thicker. I would think he did a lot of leg work as well, he hasn't been Bambi on ice.
I do like Kuzmenko, who is starting to understand the defensive part of the game and has an excellent attitude.
I really don't like Mikheyev on that line, it needs a player who does some crashing and banging, who also has some skill.
As was mentioned last night by One small leap, Pederson did that.
Now, not going to get to carried away here as it is a pretty small sample size and consistency has been a big issue for Pouty, if he can continue on at a consistent level, then it is a win-win for the team and the fans.
Pouty has deserved his criticism that he has received, in the past, hopefully those days are behind us.

I agree with most of the stuff you post.

It is a small sample but without Petey this team is hard to watch. I know Demko and a few regulars are out but the two games prior without any offence was brutal.

The trade proposal at the bottom of this, is something I could get behind

Could the Vegas Golden Knight be in on Bo Horvat?
Owen Krepps of Vegas Hockey Now: The Vegas Golden Knights need some depth up front.

If the Golden Knights want to go big, Vancouver Canucks pending UFA Bo Horvat is one of the bigger names that could be available. Darren Dreger this week said that Canucks would like to add a young center and a young right-handed defenseman.

Horvat carries a $5.5 million cap hit the Golden Knights don’t have much room. Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko is hurt and the Golden Knights could include Laurent Brossoit or Adin Hill to help with the cap.

Jake Leschyshyn (23) and Brett Howden (24) are young centers but wouldn’t be the main piece. Young defensemen prospects include Daniil Miromanov, Brayden Pachal, and Kaedan Korczak.

A proposal that may not be enough for Horvat – a 2023 first- and second-round pick, Brett Howden, Kaeden Korczak and Laurent Brossoit.

It’s funny, peculiar, that Millers offence has just all but dried up. He’s seemingly trying to play better defensively but that just kills his risk-taking offensive ways. Horvat has looked nonexistent at even strength for a long time. They probably would’ve lost that game 5-1 again without their #1 24 year old center EP40.

Pretty much agree 👍

Still dwelling on duos to set up the 3rd wheel choice. Need to see what transpires on trades. Assuming Bo gone.

Kuzy Petey Pedey
Miky Millsy Boessy
3rd TBD
Joshua Aman Lazar

Prefer 1 of Boeser or Garland gone but waffling of late so Garland goes for now.

Can see us gaining as much as a late 1st & mid 2nd or so. Add in 1 key NHLer or good prospect or 2. Presuming 2-3 trades upcoming if all goes well. So much depends on how long Demko is out. If prolonged then shut him down.

Offhand I can't think of a better game I seen Petey play. I was actually pulling for the team last night just because of his effort. Was also nice to see the team rush out to congradulate him at the end of the shootout. It was also against the Kraken whom I really don't care for

5v5 in the 5-1 blowouts it’s painfully obvious.
