I really like our goal scoring ability. The bad is the roster structure & contracts that JB left behind. Put those 2 together & we’re effed. I really don’t have the answers. I’ll try anyways just gimme a year or 5 lol

Cap is valuable & taking less in return on the surface is bad optics but idc cuz if done right it’s the way to go.

Yeah, the part that always gets left out when evaluating trades is player impact vs cap hit.


If someone trades an above average 3rd line winger who's making $4M for an average 3rd line winger making $2M, the team getting the cheaper guy wins despite getting the worse player, I'd rather use that $2M upgrade on a more important position.

I disagree with Nucker. I think he's still tradeable. He's just lost the expiring contract charm that contending teams like around the TDL.

Yes please. I am a big fan of him. There are others that I like as well, like Dmitri Simashev & David Reinbacher. Several defenseman I like into 2-4th round.
Apparently this is a weak draft for defensemen, yet there are a fair amount of defensemen out there, just not top of draft quality.

I don’t mind the Aman-Lockwood swap


Aman has fallen off over the past month or so. Issue with Lockwood is his consistency and two-way play but he’s had some PK reps in the AHL this season so maybe he can stick this time around. Can’t hurt to try. He’s also more physical than Aman
