I don’t think the Canucks will ever draft a winning team. Nothing from their draft history or their development history gives me any hope that they will create a winner.

At this point I just hope they get lucky when they start to trade this core.

OEL you buy out. Myers you trade with retention. But those moves can wait.

Garland and Boeser could be traded prior. Unless you go full tank to sell Bo plus send JTM to a new address by the TDL.

Both their deals are too rich for other teams unless you add sweeteners.

If they can’t afford the contracts sweetners don’t lessen them. More likely retention or taking back a dead contract that can be bought out. But still think those two have value to be straight up sold out. Not a lot but something.
