Aquilini doesn't want to go up, he's very happy making his money, Gillis didn't leave a mess, Benning was one of the best yes men this organization has ever had. Aquilini is very smart he saw how stupid Canuck fans are so he bought out the controlling interest in the team and those years of mediocrity have made his family even richer.

Aquilini doesn't want to go up, he's very happy making his money, Gillis didn't leave a mess, Benning was one of the best yes men this organization has ever had. Best landing spot for BoHo, not sure what have prospect wise but 1st and 2rd picks would be nice. Buffalo most likely for Bo to sign long deal with plus young enough to come in and carry some weight off the Sabers younger players.

That being said, I don't see the Sabers trading many players in the NHL, maybe Middlestat

Looking at Buffalo, with 76 mil in deadline cap space, trade BH, LS and Pearson, then the Sabers might be a dark horse cup contender this year if they get goaltending

I would not give up anything to move him. I would ride out the two more years and take his 17 goals. Like you said though there is no next contract.
