If I was Bo Horvat, I would be telling them to get me out of this place asap.
He starts getting a bit of chemistry with a linemate, then that player is moved to play with Pouty. Doesn't matter who he starts getting some chemistry with, they pull him from his line, as soon as that player gets going.


Assistant coach Bruce is excellent for the accidental, almost as good as WD and Green.

Trade Horvat (cause we blew it)
Trade Miller (for a bag of pucks)
Trade Kuzmenko (cause he won't come back / can't afford him)
Make Petey captain (trade him next year when he wants out)
Let Hughes keep playing shinny (for entertainment purposes)

The rest are probably bad enough to get us a few lottery years, hopefully we hit one for once. This is really all I can hope for now.

Agreed.
When your best players, in an important game like this one, are Horvat, the teams best player just about always, Spencer Martin, Ethan Bear, a #5 defenseman and Jack Studnicka, a 4th line centre, you know you have a garbage team.

I will give Garland a bit of credit, he played decent, after the 1st, when he seemed to be fighting the puck.

That #8 on the Flames is still one of the best defensive defensmen in the game today. He has had a phenomenal 10 year run, at being one of the best, at what he does.
