Oilers need to get their sh!t together as well. They were in that game and many chances just not burying them. Not sure how long Drai is out but that hurts. With Kane and Drai back they will be right up there with the Flames soon.

It was mostly Hrudey. He highlighted some soft plays and lack of effort by a Miller. Basically, if you're gonna yell at the Goalie, back it up with your own play.

On a positive note, zadorov had a meeting at the Canucks bench after the 174lb Lockwood gave him the ovechkin lol

This Canuck team has flaws. It’s no surprise how players lose favor and gain it. All part of their play I guess.

I suppose management takes a longer approach to deduce what to do. While the coach is the one to make immediate impact on player’s play and psyche.

They are not a team pulling together it’s obvious, we can all blame it on Miller but he looks like a frustrated player and shows it for the cameras, how do you fix it is the issue? They have good players do you trade the good players? We have a big problem here which is clear as day.

As much as I wish they could, Miller has made himself untradeable. In general, you don't see a lot of scenarios where a team signs a 7 or 8 year contract and does an about face on it in year one.

A) They don't like to admit they were that dumb
B) The player must be playing so bad or injury prone that no one will handicap their team with the

There will be so many other 1-2 year options at the trade deadline that are comparable to what Miller brings for a playoff push. Many more without the baggage of a crybaby on the ice and room disruptor and overall bad team guy. Where there is that much smoke, there is definitely some fire.

I don't know how Vancouver consistently does this with their assets, but complete mismanagement. In recent history it has been most apparent on the goalie front, but whatever comes of this trainwreck, they will not end up with the kind of picks or prospects they should like other teams have done (Rangers, Avs, many more).
