Build from the wings out?

Once Horvat is gone, the center position is going to be poop. Miller is a winger who can take faceoffs but this management seems convinced that he’s a full time center.

So basically two wingers get to have fun with EP and the rest will get (frank)ed once Bo is gone.


Not to mention he goes from playing with Zibanejad at Center, but he also goes from playing with Fox/Lindgren/Miller/Trouba/Schneider to Hughes/OEL/Myers/Bear

Sounds like a great place for Laf to turn it around

If they are able to send JTM there and keep Bo then maybe this works with Laf. But if not then yeah this seems like another recipe for disaster. Thing is who do they have to take on in salary to trade out JTM?

Would be a big win…

Bo for 1 top prospect C/RHD & a 1st. About what it seems is fair.
Save lots on cap but weak at C.
Gotta start somewhere.
Buyout Pearson is more cap.
Hoping a cheap McDonough is a 3C.
Still gotta unload a winger Garland.
Trade Myers after his bonus is paid.

Going to be rough 2023 but I don’t see BB is back to see it. It doesn’t really matter til changes happen for real. We all know this.

JR has 2 months to the TDL, they're currently the 7th worst team in the NHL.

Canuck fans need some good news after all the issues and internal squabbles.

The Rangers seem to know and like JTM and tried to get him. So now that he’s locked in maybe it works better for them. But it’s still risky for Canucks as Laf could be a bust.
