If they would stop doing the same thing, over and over, like signing 3rd line wingers, to 5 million dollar contracts and trading away picks, in other choosing a different direction, I for one would be very supportive of that type of direction.
Right now, it has just been more of the same shit, year after year.

I'm not like Lefty who cheers for half the NHL, however I'm a realist when it comes to the Canucks. Sid was correct they should move out 5 or so players sooner than later, it's the best way to right the ship. These days I don't watch the games, I watch the highlights and read the stat's the next day. 10 minutes or so. #Apathy

The Vancouver Canucks need to trade five guys in the next week and make a run at that first overall pick. It would change the franchise. To not seriously try is completely irresponsible.

Green and Benning Fired at same time (has this ever happened before mid season?)
No GM for a while but got a new coach
JR hired
GM hired but does nothing and has no head GM experience
Assistant GM is hired who also has no GM experience
Don't trade Miller at trade deadline last year though he caused alot of problems in the dressing room (Petterson's wrist issues were rumoured to be from a locker room tiff with Miller)
Don't sign Horvat
Sign Miller long term to a contract in off season
- contract is such that no one will take in a trade
Sign some Russians that normally would never sign in Vancovuer
Demko gets the Cory Schneider disease of marriage
Trade bait the market with Boeser (and I guess any one not named Petterson Demko or Hughes)
Don't sign Horvat
Trade bait the market for Horvat
.....and somewhere in there the GM said that he didn't KNOW the coach was signed to another year!

Apathy here too. While checking those stats I noticed Miller leading at minus 15. Queue JTM bash:

This guy is unbelievable. At dash 15 your only answers should be it's me, I need to be better. Instead we get, 'I'm not giving up much' or 'I'm playing the right way'. If everyone was minus 15 or 20 ... ok fine. But we have a line that is well into the positive, and even a few d-man. It is you JTM ... and at that drastic of a difference is not misleading as some say plus/minus can be. It's supported by the eye test and his effort after his blatant giveaways. You can't say your problem is you care too much when you get called out for a pretty brutal little hissy fit on Delia and then back it up with the kind of effort he gives on the ice when things don't go his way. Worst 99 point player I've ever seen.

Some people were happy he was able to distance himself from the evolving poopstorm, so he could hopefully hang onto at least some of his legacy as a Canuck.
