Fun watching players in this tournament, or suggestions from commenter on players they would like to have acquired from Canucks like, Jiricek, Svozil, Nemec, Bichsel, Del Maestro, Allen, Matier, Bystedt etc.
I remember 1 guy recommending all of these guys, but got shot down on all of them, at the time he was suggesting them

He was the show last night. Lots of great hockey players never make it. It's just nice to see a kid that has been on fire for almost 2 years get to show his stuff on a national stage.

He will be too old by the time the team is relevant again. I agree with Reuby, not because of a dislike for Pouty but because he will be in his prime while the Canucks are hopefully starting to crawl out of the gutter.

Disallowed goal for goalie interference. It was a weak call.
The second goaltender interference call against the crybabies was legit.
Oh well, they would have lost 6-3 instead of 6-2.
Worst sportsmanship on the entire planet.

We say this about certain positions every year and are always wrong. Seider wasn't worth a top 10 pick according to most in here, was taken 6th oa and is a stop #2 who is looking like he will be a legit #1. Outside of the top 10 it is always safe to reach IMO.
