A lot of people were happy with that trade because of Garland. It was agreed that he was the best part of the trade at the time and people ooo'd and awed over his tenacious work ethic.

Chris Gear sending some love to Seattle!

“The Kraken are on a five game winning streak, they have games in hand on the Pacific division leaders, their farm team is first overall in the AHL by percentage, and they have great ownership, an awesome building and stunning uniforms. Things are going pretty well down the I-5.”

Why not? Better than Canucks trash.

There’s nothing to say we haven’t seen or heard already. It writes itself & we all got the pens out.

Too bad they didn't hire him, they'd be just as bad as the Canucks.

What's next? Travis Green joins twitter and starts raving but how well coached the Canes are?

He was my coping mechanism because I knew OEL was a bad contract. I still think he'd be fine on a different team as a middle 6 pest that can score but he's a bad fit here and also not as plug and play and versatile as I thought. I think he only plays well when paired with physical forwards, I've liked him with Pod and I think he finished last year strong with Miller and Pearson.

I believe this is year ten since Aquilini hired Tortorella, and here we are STILL a bottom ten team without any semblance of a prospect pool while the Kraken are near the top of the league with a good prospect pool in year two of their existence.

The Canucks have good offensive forwards, they can score and create offensively, but, they can’t defend very well which is more the coaches fault than the players IMO and their defence is simply not NHL quality. There’s a lot of things that needs to change in the organization and it starts with re-doing the defence and then changing the coaching staff.

These players are making mistakes you learnt not to do in pee wee, and that's on the coaches?

158 goals against, second worst in the league, only Anaheim is worse. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, until that changes they can score as many goals as they want but unless they can bring that number down, nothings going to change.

The kid played well. Nothing wrong with showing appreciation. I enjoyed his game last year. He's lost something this year though.

Yes, of course it is. There’s no accountability. Every player in the league makes mistakes, it’s not as much about individual mistakes as it is about collectively playing a structured game. There’s no structure. If there was and then guys were making bad mistakes, ok, it’s 100% on the players.

Why do you think other players leave the Canucks and have success elsewhere? It’s because teams with structure fit them into a role and they play within that role. Boudreau is a wide open pond hockey players coach. The whole thing is broken.

All these goals against broke my give-a-fuq meter. I blame coaching & their system. Next up the players for bonehead plays & other breakdowns. Breakouts & passing are an embarrassment. Basic skills are a joke. Hockey IQ no comment.
