I don't think Pearson helps much, he was actually helping with the losses with all of his hooking/holding penalties because he's too slow. If they wanna tank, you move Horvat/Kuz/Schenn and keep Demko on the sidelines for as long as possible and then you'll notice the difference.

Don’t think so. I’d say they are in the middle of the pack, they their standings represent pretty accurately how good they are. Better goaltending would probably have them close to the bubble. But that’s why ignoring the horrible defense was such a mistake, because as soon as you stop getting Vezina goal tending look how good you are.

Ya Pearson has lost more than a step last couple years.

I know Schenn gets a lot of love since he is one of the few with some pride out there, but let's be honest he's no longer at the level where he's contributing for a winning team and bumping guys out. I think the Tampa run was the last time he does that.

Insurance policy at best, I think he gets us a 4th or 5th if anything ... especially in a deep draft. There are fleeter of foot guys out there with a physical edge and I don't think whoever is after his type is going to rely on all their physicality coming from the one player, as Vancouver does.

He’s paid accordingly. The rest of the D are not his fault. He runs the PP & nobody else is shutdown D. The PK sucks & my boy Myers is the key go to on it. OEL is a big drag on the cap. The plugs cannot carry the load. Schenn is great value.
