My daughter's basketball game was. They lost by 3. She had a 3 point attempt, with 2 seconds remaining that bounced off the rim a couple times, but didn't go in.

I actually follow many of these kids, well before a small sample size tournament, like the WJC, so I wouldn't call it a small sample size.

I began tracking prospects in earnest a few weeks ago. Still a work in progress. Small sample size means still more season is left.

As for Strbak I like him & his play in the WJC’s for a bigger RHD if still there in the 2nd for us. Still wanting trades to get more 1sts & 2nds to take advantage of this quality draft.

Strbak would be a nice addition.

Weiermaier C another American I like in the 3rd. I don’t get tunnel vision on only US players but I do find & admit the USA produces top talent in numbers. I wanted Scott Morrow D Chesley was another Ceulemans a Canadian when not too many thought alike & now nearly impossible to pry outta Carolina.etc.

The NHL is far more physical than the WJC. When they brought the physicality at the WJC they were able to slow him down.

There's nothing wrong with being an elite winger, it's just different from being an elite C. He can still drive play from the wing. It's just different from controlling play down low at both ends of the rink.
