What’s funny is the rumors for the same team interest changes week to week on which player they want from the Canucks. Like Rangers want BB, then JTM then Bo. Circle back and you get Caps do same. Until there’s a deal it’s just talk.

Like here we all know nothing. But we can state wishes. Here’s a rumor Canucks trade all their UFA’s to teams that can’t afford to sign them. But they had deals in place with Canucks prior to trade and sign them in free agency. But they do manage to trade away JTM & BB. Lol okay… nice fantasy, right?

I am still trying to figure out why you guys got all giddy about the Mikheyev signing. I could see if he was signed at 3 million, then it would be a decent enough deal, but a team screaming about no cap, the almost 5 million dollar cost, for a player that does nothing to move the needle upwards, is a big price to pay.
I guess 1 could argue that the team is actually worse with h9m in the lineup this season, compared to last season.

Boston now at 70 points, almost twice as many points as the Canucks, half way through the season. Good to see them beating the Leafs last night, ending the teams 5th, 1 game losing streak of the season.
Speaking of the Bruins, they just re-signed Pavel Zacha to a 4 year deal at 4.75 per.

Sort of, I guess, but Zacha in Bruins lineup and team is by far the best in the league, Canucks with Mikheyev in the lineup, even worse than most Canucks teams in their history.
One player moves the needle in an upward direction, the other moves the needle in a downward direction.
