Just thinking about this whole Horvat for win now players thing. They might as well just sign Horvat for whatever because they aren’t going to get a better player in return, only a cheaper player, and therefore the opportunity to “win now” is highest with Horvat, not without him.

This has all been handled poorly. People were quick to point out Benning's lack of professionalism but JR has handled the Bruce situation terribly since the end of last season. Just amateur hour.

Cap has to stay. There are teams that are much richer than others, and owners who just see their spots team as a toy they can spend money on. The Cap was put in place because of teams like Detroit buying the Stanley Cup.
