Could you imagine if your employer was planning your replacements for months and not hiding it from you? Bruce won’t get another job so he should have some fun with this. Use a German accent for all press conferences. Play only defensmen on the PP. send Quinn to Abby etc

Just thinking about this whole Horvat for win now players thing. They might as well just sign Horvat for whatever because they aren’t going to get a better player in return, only a cheaper player, and therefore the opportunity to “win now” is highest with Horvat, not without him.

Rutherford saying “we don’t think Horvat is worth signing long term because his current season is an anomaly” is really going to strengthen the Canucks’ position during Horvat trade calls with other teams.
