Miller is just asserting his Alpha-ness. He's showing all the players, coaches, management, and fans that he's the guy: if he doesn't try they don't win. Until everyone accepts his awesome manliness and superhuman levels of testosterone, he's going to continue to out-Alpha everyone by not backchecking.

Who knows? What we do know is GM's are circling Rutherford, and he seems to be open for business. I think we all need to be prepared for underwhelming returns with the current state of this team.

Don't have much of a prospect pool as of yet but honestly, I'd take that deal over the supposed Nashville one and the 4 prospects that were mentioned yesterday.

JR will be 74 next month, he has 22 months left on his deal (if he lasts that long).

They're not in re-build mode, he'll be long gone if and when any of these "picks" ever play in the NHL.

JR is more concerned with his legacy than the Canucks 4-5 years down the road.
