Seattle is in a playoff spot and that pick is going to be around 20. Bostons is going to be less than 10 spots higher. How is their 1st more valuable than Lysell and Bostons 1st? Lysell is playing well in the AHL. Also Boston would need to add to those two pieces.

I think the only players reluctant to move are the older ones who are married with children, the guys who don't have children would probably welcome a fresh start at this point.

I would've done that deal during either of those times


Stutzle's my boy, has skill, can play C/W and has some grit to his game. I also like Shane Pinto a lot on the Sens. They have a nice group of forwards, it's too bad their depth and defense is tragically bad.

It is so obvious that ownership makes the calls. What I found incredible is the risk of keeping Horvat every day. If he has a major injury between now and the trade deadline Canucks will lose all trade options and he could walk with no return.

Rutherford apparently has a history of making trades earlier than the TDL so we'll see. But yes, it would be typical Canucks luck if Bo ends up suffering a significant injury before he gets traded.


Part me of me is excited for him too, I'd like to see him on a good team, especially in the playoffs this year.

Why not wait till the off season to be able to take a look at everybody.

Yeah, I love how they chose to hire both the GM and now the coach during the middle of the season, when a lot of guys aren't available for interviews/jobs.


But I don't think JR cares, he just wanted his Pitt boys anyway and now he's getting them so why wait just to delay the inevitable?
