I didn't even know we had 15 prospects, that list is embarrassing for a team that's lost like the 5th most games over the past 7-8 years

It does say that it's u23 rankings. So McDonough and Karlsson are not on there. No full time NHLers so Hogs and Pods aren't on there. Rathbone not included as well.

I went through a bunch of the other lists and you look at Van's list and the first junior league player is Lockhart at 7. Where as a lot of those other lists in and around Van's have players like Bains from last year at 2 or 3.

There have been some reports out there about if/when Rick Tocchet will be named the head coach of the Canucks. It’s my understanding that ownership is not holding up anything and Jim Rutherford has the full green light to make the decision if/when he wants to.

So, paying three coaches is one thing. But why not have Green come back and Keep Boudreau here with Tocchet so they can all learn at the same time?

The fan base initial faith in the current management was just a dead cat bounce. Nothing short of someone coming in a enacting a complete overhaul over a couple seasons was going to stop that speeding train.

I think I would put Bains a bit further down the list. Forsell is a 19 year old playing against stronger competition. Kid is getting 1st line SHL minutes at times. Hoglander never even got that.

He has as many Allsvenskan points as Lekkerimaki and he's less than a year older.

Filip Johansson has been playing 20 minutes a night for a few seasons in the SHL where Jurmo is still only playing 15 minutes a night in Liiga. A lesser league.

I was encouraged by Dakota Joshua's performance early on. But since his 2G & scrap night in San Jose on December 7th, has 0+1=1 in last 17 games. Team has been outscored at evens by 12 on the season with DJ on the ice. Some negligent defending lately. Been a tough stretch

On a side note. I thought Cal Foote had a solid game yesterday. A bit sheltered, but didn't look out of place. If he is the main piece for Schenn, I won't be all that disappointed, though I would prefer he goes to a team with a 2nd rounder this year.
