6th worst team in NHL, lame duck coach, pathetic defense.

Playoffs baby!

There was Green, Baumer, Shaw, King. Poor everything.

Then Boudreau, Walker, Shaw took over D, King. Improved structure and improved D.

Now Boudreau, Yeo, Cull, King. Poor everything but PP.

Tocchet here to just make sure players are held accountable. Going to need some real structured D and other coach.

Horvat trade chatter picking up. Must be getting close to ‘protect the asset’ time. Two games next two nights. I’m sure Bo wants to play them, but is it in #Canucks best interest to sit him down?

This is exactly what Colorado did in Mackinnon's 4th season. Got rid of Duchene, drafted high, traded away a few other minor pieces. Keep most of the young core together. Start using analytics. Sign/trade for a few reclamation projects.

I really like Hughes. He is a very talented winger. For some reason the team keeps trotting him out on D and it’s a disservice to the young man. Trade him to a progressive organization that will let him flourish in his natural position

So Shaw is the difference in D structure. Who let him walk? Now they try to fix the whole team with coaching changes. It’s more craziness. Just sell players. Draft and build. But most think that will get screwed up as well.
