This is exactly what Colorado did in Mackinnon's 4th season. Got rid of Duchene, drafted high, traded away a few other minor pieces. Keep most of the young core together. Start using analytics. Sign/trade for a few reclamation projects.

Lousy way to go down. Management could have been quick to fire him but let him hang while team floundered. Bruce is a good guy but didn’t get job done from camp.

Will it be better for management to be replaced next? Before or after the retool major surgery?
