Rental players just don't bring a huge return, generally speaking, it's usually this first round pick that is coveted by the teams sending away the player.

Yes but this is the flat cap era where opposite seems true. Rental means fit into contending team cap to go for it. So that has huge value. Why mentioned Kuzmenko being sought after.

This was a good return for Hampus Lindholm. Not enough time to see how it'll pan out for Anaheim though. Didn't exactly set the Ducks up for immediate success.

Bruins trade for Hampus Lindholm; send a lot to the Ducks...

Bruins receive: Hampus Lindholm (Ducks retain 50% of his salary) and Kodie Curran.

Ducks receive: Urho Vaakanainen, John Moore, 2022 first-round pick, second-rounders in 2023 and 2024.
