In my eyes, the only thing that truly takes away Boesers value is the flat cap. If it was going up 3-4m a season it wouldn't be hard to dump him for a 2nd in the off season. Wingers like Bo and Garland are usually an off season trade, but in season trade.

Boeser had more value as an RFA though to be sure. Lost some of that after signing his contract.

2 1sts in value is low for Bo. 2 1sts+. Don't undervalue how valuable low contracts are. Even for a rental. Lesser players got more than 2 1sts (value wise) in previous years.

Were it just their contracts, it would be difficult. Combine their contracts with how they're playing and it's impossible. I mean look at the Canucks stat sheet. Two huge things stand out and that is Boeser & Miller's plus minus. Then if any scout watched any games they would be like wow, surprised the stats aren't worse.
