Green had a say with that one too. I remember a couple of games where Mac was flying and throwing hits and then Green would scratch him next game. I’m sure Green had a say in waiving him.

Because Benning and the Canucks always prioritize small passive players. I loved the meat and Potatoes narrative when benning was here. More like spinach and yams

yeah I think that's wishful thinking. I'd guess it's either Wallinder or a 1st, not both

I didn't realize Rasmussen had developed pretty nicely for Detroit, thought he was more of a reclamation project and not an emerging player.

That would be a nice trade. Wallinder is a nice defenseman. Would be the Canucks #1 the moment he stepped into the lineup.

I don't see them doing that, but I mentioned Sebrango last week, who is also a decent defense prospect. I think I also said Zadina.
They have the pieces that Benning is looking for.

He plays up and down the line up where needed, when needed, a solid 6/7 forward, right now, playing about 15 minutes a night.
