They have to trade Schenn. This team has no assets. This shouldn't even be a discussion. Just re-sign him in the summer if they want him back. He already came back once.

Worked out well but Markstrom was no longer highly thought of and was on waivers twice. Mattias was 🤮

Markstrom still had potential at the time of the trade, and when we sent him down on waivers it was done at a time when most teams were still looking at their goalies and likely not taking a flyer on him.

Also recent Friedman statement suggest that the Canucks ask is too high, not that there is no demand. If it was Boeser for a 7th, teams would line up.
