There's no way he comes back with this management group, not with the way they treated him and BB, even if we dumped say Myers and Boeser for peanuts it's not going to happen. Not to mention that signing Bo means Petterson can't be signed next summer. This deal didn't address the D, so this is a clear loss for the Canucks as Bo was our biggest trade chip and they blew it for an underachieving winger that'll be in the mix with our underachieving wingers for ice time, a C prospect that's got a lot of upside but with major question marks and a protected 1st that if the Isles make the playoffs will end up being a marginal player. It disappointing, but I kind of expected it, seeing as we're the Canucks and we rarely hit home runs.

Not disagreeing other than Bo is a UFA & the reality is what it is. The draft is deep & they aren’t in the PO’s yet. All big trades are risky & 3 assets for 1 is only the start to retool.

Lane Pederson had almost twice as many goals in half as many games in the AHL as Raty. As far as Abby goes, LP for AR is a let down. Not that it's a big picture thing... just saying.

Very hard to trade for D for starters. Gotta work on cap space & move out Myers somehow. Can sign a better defensive UFA D. There are some decent D freeing up. Severson Gavrikov for a couple.

They got younger? I mean, technically, it's a work in progress? ... Yeah I got nothing, an underachieving winger, a young C with upside and major question marks and a protected 1st isn't that great for a player of Bo's calibre and if NYI signs him long term, that's going to be even worse.
