Yup.

When he mention the culture and structure in New York, it was like he wanted to smile.

Thought he handled that interview with class.

Yeah will be interesting to see if he signs long term and how the Isles do as a team.

They could use the offense badly

Yeah, no, you traded Bo for a younger Mik, a C prospect with upside and major question marks that probably is the centerpiece of the deal and a protected first that isn't going to get you a star player. So really it's 3 2nds... Lame.
- DariusKnight

Allvin is a clown. Three 1st round picks? Even if you want to spin the players as 1st rounders, that doesn't add up. Raty was a 2nd rounder...

yeah. I wish him the best tbh.

I wouldn't be surprised if he walks it to free agency though and takes a look at what is available to him and his family.

That is a pretty solid 1-2 -3 punch down the middle. 4 if they don't move a centre to wing.

I hope for his sake he does. The Isles have some good players but aren't a contender in the stacked East and have arguably the worst prospect pool in the league now while owing a future 1st to the Canucks as well.

I don't think Bo's going to end up having too many deep playoff runs if he signs there long-term, but who knows maybe they go on a deep run as soon as this year lol. With Sorokin you have a chance to beat anyone on any given night. I just think they lack the elite cores that teams like BOS/TB have

He should sign with the Canes

Not knowing what other teams serious offer was or if the timing was better now we’ll never know probably. We do know it’s tough to move cap & it’s not going up much next year. So Bo gone it is.

NYI currently sits at 13oa this draft.
Very good prospects there if they end up there. I’m going to focus on who we could pick. Some very interesting prospects in that range & also what could fall or the strategy. D is more in line at 13th so gonna start there. My rough idea of rankings that are fluid if picking D. No particular order.

Reinbacher
Simashev
Sandin-Pellikka

Austrian is hard to gauge but looked very solid.
Russian is under the radar imo.
Swede was on a soso team imo

Of those 3 who might you pick?

None of them, I'd trade the pick along with a Boeser/Garland and trade up into the top 10

Always an option. Have you looked at the prospects in the draft? Some very good stuff in top 15. Wood is one to watch as for D I like them around 18-20 give or take.

It`s a shame they can`t give him a DiPietro like deal.

10 or 13 I don’t see much if any difference. Not worth the price to move up we need more assets not less. Another 1st be wishful but 1-2 more 2nds be fine. So far I like the top 45 range but still studying up.

No GM is taking a cap dump in order to move down in the top 10 of a draft, especially this draft.

Might as well start proposing OEL for a 7th round pick trade offers

Still believe a winger is moved & hoping more. Cap dumps if handled right & a buyout almost certain of.

I'm sure they'll dump a winger via trade by attaching a pick/prospect or buyout, I'd guess Garland.

If JR/PA had balls, they trade what they got today with Petey or Hughes for the 1OA

Bruce mentioned multiple times that EP doesn't say much on or off the ice. Doesn't make sense for him to be captain.

But I'm 100% sure JR/Allvin will be desperate enough to use it was a negotiating tactic when they try to extend him this summer.

- Nucker101

For all the fanboys out there: Elias doesn’t want to be the captain and would be a terrible captain. We don’t need a captain right now.

Ideally more size & speed is gotten. Boeser is big but slow n soft. Garland shrimpy but faster & feisty. Boeser my choice if a GM thinks Brock can reset. Garland is cheaper & easier to move.

Boeser for Greenway+ be nice
Garland for Seamus Casey+
Boeser to NJD
