I don't think this management group is committed to a full rebuild. I think they are trying to trade across like Calgary. They signed Kuz to 2 years because they want to win now. Trading Demko isn't a good move if that is the case. And certainly losing to him 16 times isn't a good idea. It will be bubble Demko everytime we see him...

But maybe they are going full re-build if the price is right. God knows we need a Burkie/Quinn like set of trades to right the ship

I’m not buying into the rebuild yet. Fully expect them to try to make moves to get this team into the playoffs as soon as next year

Like if they trade Demko they’ll be chasing a starting goalie. They’ll still be trying to add legit NHL players even if it costs them picks.

Miller and JD scream a Management/Owner that think hey are better than they were (a lot of us did). Bo shows they realized they were wrong and traded. Kuz is either the offers werent there or EP expressed that he wants him around. You always keep stars happy as best you can.

I still don’t buy into the EP theory. He’s close with Brock who they booted off of PP1 and had playing with Dries and now are shopping. One of his best friends got sent down to the AHL. They just traded away the leading goal scorer on this team. And now there’s Demko chatter. Not sure how that’s catering to EP at all.

It was and is extremely difficult, stressful for sure. She managed to find people though, but it's an ongoing battle and it's not easy dealing with young entitled twats. Mostly the guys, the girls are relatively low maintenance compared to the guys working there. Thankfully the ratio is about five to one.

I think the Demko chatter is a distraction. No one is paying premium $ for a guy that has been injured for the last 2 months (and had a couple of hip surgeries previously...)

Watch and see how Hockey and Sports in general changes in this decade. Winning the cup is great but will not be as big as some of the other stuff suck as the draft, fantasy sports and pools, Tanking and building a top contender.

Sports betting is going to be huge. I know a lot of this sounds like what you call tinfoil theory, but you can only have one winner and the best way to keep all fans engaged is by making them feel like they are part of the process.

Everyone thinks they are an expert and can fix the problem but there is no one solution to building a champion or else everyone would be using it.

I think soon you will see the JRs and old boys club removed from the game and a fresher look like Dubass will be more common. I guess I am saying change is coming soon.
