You would have to add an asset to move him. Maybe in 3 or 4 years it makes sense. This team is a long way away. Hopefully he rebounds and has value again next season. No trading futures for a few years

What Don is saying is pretty clear, since they signed Miller in the summer they’ve seen that they need to go in a different direction, at least that’s how I feel, that they feel. You know, things change, have to adjust. Hopefully more trades and purging coming.

Agree, he’s singing a different tune. But this is one move. It included a 20 year old center and a first round pick. There’s hope in this. They didn’t trade for immediate help, Beauvillier was a cap thing, they traded for futures. Which goes against what Rutherford said, we shall see.

To me, and what do I know, if they truly thought they were gonna have a poor season like they’re having why on earth would they sign Miller, after a 99 point season, and Boeser to extensions? Miller had huge trade value. Which is now gone like my youth never to return. I think they were fooled.

Our first mistake is listening to anything they say and taking it to heart. What they want and what they need to now do are two completely different things. As I keep saying, things change, time to adjust.
