Cracks me up when ppl toss out ideas or thoughts & all that some ppl can do is knock it. Chickenshlt to not engage with counter ideas of their own. Now if a poster were to ask a question then it’s open season.

Bob has his list from early December, as he has always done since his days at the hockey news. He has said many times, that by the time he releases his in-season rankings, they more than likely have already changed.

I am of the belief that defense will be this teams biggest need, over the next several drafts, so, as I always tend to do, I rank defensemen higher than a lot of these rankings that are out there.
Extremely hard to win without good defense.

My lists start off as my dreaded BPA. Once I set it then I like to project team needs to mock the draft for real. Not a science but does help projecting who might fall.

Yes we can bet that D will be a big focus. It’s far too obvious.

Severson is a bit of a defensive concern, but rather have him than Boeser.

They also wouldn't be losing him for free but they do not want to re-sign him with Hamilton, Marino signed for years.

I'd say add Schenn to Boeser and possibly take back another mid level middle 6 winger to make the caps work.

Rumoured for awhile but the PO drive has him as a team rental. Yes on some D warts but at the right price I’d like him. I don’t think it happens at the price I’d pay. NJD needs a scoring winger & have him behind Hamilton & injured Marino on the RHD depth chart. NJD have 2m cap space so straight trade is close. How does this grab you?
