I don't criticize him hardly ever, but I don't like him. I would be okay with a good return on a trade for him. I get all the stats, but it is still a gut feeling I have.

I'm sure there are many team that would love to pair him up with a Tanev type player and watch their power play rocket. Especially when he's still in his early 20's.

Something I have been saying about him since his rookie year is his skating is over rated to a degree. He never seems to be the fastest guy on the ice like he's portrayed. It's all edge work which is near top in the league but he can't catch a break away like Petey can... not even close. Yet broadcasters always talk about his foot speed which is nothing more than a narrative.

Most places like Safeway BuyLow Save On all carry Pastrami and Smoke meat that are all quite acceptable. No need to pay extravagant shipping charges IMO.

I've been using my Bradly Smoker lately. Did a couple batches of smoked Rainbow Trout and Kokanee. It all turned out amazing. I've been eyeballing a couple of smoked brisket recipes to try. I think I'm going to give it a go. The only red meat I've smoked is venison jerky.

Honestly, we like to pick apart everything about our players and prop up every other teams. In reality, other teams defenders aren't as good as we ever give them credit for. Is he ever going to be Cale Makar, or Victor Hedman? no, but he has skills they wish they had. Hughes is one of the most offensively gifted Dmen in the league today, and he is well above average defending against the rush. He is not the best at defending the cycle if he needs to clear net front presence or battle against the boards. But he does a decent job picking off/disrupting passes. Other than a minority of Canucks fans, he is seen as a legit #1 defender around the league.
