Apparently he has played on the right side quite often, could be useful in the future.

One of the most intriguing prospect for the Habs in my book, I haven't seen him much (only highlights) but we keep hearing great things about him.

6'2", 193lbs, plays well in his zone, decent offensively and as you said can also play on the right side even though he is a LHD.

Two Euros I am looking to make the jump to NA are Engstrom (2022 draft) and Kapanen (2021 draft). Kapanen had to do his military service in Finland from March to end of September last year. He missed the Habs training camp, lost his summer of training and development but finished the season with Kalpa in the Liiga Finland on a really high note. He signed for one year with Timra in the SHL (Sweden) where his father is the GM for next season. Kapanen is very good defensively, produced offensively this past season in a very defensive league. He is changing league to go over to the SHL this coming season where the play is more open. He is also expected to sign with the Habs shortly and be at training camp this September. He has an out clause if he makes the Habs. Kapanen played center with Kalpa but is expected to move to the wing in the SHL or the NHL. Expect lots of comparison to Lehkonen who joined the Habs at age 21, Kapanen is 20yrs old)

I was hoping he would come play with Laval to partner with Beck...both potentially 3rd line players in the future.

more like a worse case scenario. Realistic would be 5th or 6th, when you enter the 7th overall...it's dooms day.

With all the high end D in the top 10 and likely to be picked, I am not sure if sliding down to #7 is as big a deal as other years.

According to Arpon Basu, the Canadiens are high on Demidov and might be tempted to trade up for him.

Smokescreen so Linstrom slides down to 5th-7th where the Habs can draft him?

Question is, if both Demidov and Lindstrom are on the board at 5th...who do the Habs pick?

That will be a tough call.

However, I am not sure both (or either) will be available at 5.

Demidov.

He's the 2nd best forward in this draft in my book.

Like I said before, we were so desperately excited for borderline prospects to just make it to the NHL they were overhyped beyond their probable ceiling... now we have real good pool of prospect, many that will make an NHL impact for years to come.

Not all will work out (obviously), but I expect several of them to really turn into a solid core for this team going forward.

Feels good.

i don't remember if that was one of his conspiracy theories or not. but he was mostly harmless. sometimes he'd get real worked up but you could normally talk him down after not too long. some of these clowns keep pushing when you don't buy their conspiracy theory bullpoop. at least he knew when to fold them and i've seen him admit when he was wrong a couple times, which also isn't usually par for this course.
