Rygar is underrated for sure, one of those "hidden gems"...

speaking of Contra, have you seen the new release? haven't tried it but it doesn't look horrible for the modern version of a classic.

i didn't know there was a new one. i hope it's good. that's quite a legacy to live up to. kids spent thousands of hours on contra. i remember at one friends house the dad was even involved taking a turn to try to beat a level with us.

once n64 came around rainbow six was my jam. did you ever play that? i guess it maybe was the first rainbow six game? i liked playing that even better than goldeneye. the game was fan(frank)ingtastic.

the only fun game i had for it was marvel vs. capcom. it was just side by side fighter like a ton of games at the time but you picked from marvel superheroes and capcom game characters.

Captain Skyhawk was great. I was young and had a lot of trouble controlling the plane but very fun.
