to be fair though it's a pretty poopty job indeed, the only time you hear people talking about the refs is to point out how much they sucked and missed a bunch of calls, or made very weak ones.

remaining completely impartial and objective all the time is probably not an easy thing to do, it's against human nature.

that being said I do wish the league would acknowledge that improvements need to be made on how certain rules are interpreted and applied, the inconsistency is pretty bad.
