so I get you dont approve ? ( I for one, never heard his name before0
But dont worry, I highly doubt the Habs are sharing their real draft intention with that clown ... - Xizord
it's ALL speculation at this point, smoke and mirror, some are throwing poop out there to get attention, some is BS info leaked by the team. Until they know where they draft (4 days from now) and until they who is left on the board....who the (frank) knows. |

Bang on.
Nothing will happen until the lottery and during draft day.

Still think that pick will be flipped in a package for a top 6, but we will see. - Mashadar
I think this is Plan A, Plan B might be to move up in the first to grab a 2nd player mid round.
And there is also the possibility they use that pick and their own early pick to move up early in the first if they can. |

unless they win the lottery and pick 1st, things become MUCH easier to plan for HuGo |

Not winning the lottery and picking 5th will make things a little more exciting, from a speculation perspective. Even getting the 2nd pick will likely have some good discussions.
Getting the 1st pick, while awesome, will kinda kill a lot of those conversations.

he is going mid 1st...the point would be to trade up with the Jets pick and another asset (pick or prospect). - Symba007
they'll draft him with the pick received in return for Barron and Harris |

is the Jets draft pick position confirmed now that they are eliminated? I guess they have to finish the first round before we know for sure
Got my answer
7 Playoff teams that did not win their divisions and did not make the conference finals, sorted by points, are assigned the next picks
8 Playoff teams that won their divisions and did not make the conference finals, sorted by points, are assigned the next picks
9 Conference finals losers sorted by points are assigned picks 29 and 30
10 Stanley Cup runner-up is assigned pick 31
11 Stanley Cup champion is assigned pick 32 |

yes, the results of the first 2 rounds don't matter much on the draft. win or lose it's the regular season ranks.
the final 4 does. that's where we got (frank)ed by FLA last year. |

Well their decision to remove the "roulez vert" program isn't helping people cough up the 60+k needed to buy a decent electric car.
Even with the program it's still a substancial investment.
