also I expect things to change offensively and defensively as the team evolves and adds prospects, I don't think the coaching staff and management only have one style of play in mind, they surely want their players to be able to adapt to certain situations accordingly.

And I am pretty sure ownership wanted Sutter back behind the bench.

He probably had the best defence corps in the league in 21/22 and 22/23, did kind-of OK in trades he was forced to make.
