just watching the game.

good ones tonight!

I’m all alone tonight, so I get to control the TV.

I’m watching everything, and instead of watching the 2nd period of the Rangers-Hurricanes game, I found the Tyson-Douglas fight on Youtube and watched that instead (watched it live while in university - really warm memories).

are you gonna watch the Tyson vs Jake Paul fight?

I already have Netflix so I'll probably stream it, in the hopes I can see Tyson murder that douchebag.

In university, my 1st year residence roommate and I were HUGE Tyson fans.

We watched the Tyson-Douglas fight together (fun fact: we were watching it in a sportsbar in Kingston, Ontario. When the fight ended, they immediately switched it to a hockey game. We were screaming at the bartender to switch it back, but he said, “see that guy in the corner? He wants to watch his son Kirk Muller’s game, and we only have one satellite dish”).

Anyhoo, we’ve kinda drifted apart over the years, so I’m going to invite him over to see it.

Jim Lampley was saying that from the 1st round, and in the early rounds the other commentators were dismissing it.

By about round 5 they were agreeing.

that head movement was a big part of what he was. the side to side, the duck and then the uppercut, all that stuff.

youtube suggested this tommy hearns documentary vid like a month ago and i watched it and liked it a lot more than most of these types of things. check it out if you're into that kinda thing.

I used to absolutely love boxing.

There was nothing better than Hagler, Hearns, Duran and Leonard (Gawd, I hated Leonard).

And don’t sleep on the Duran-Barkley fight. Oh poop, that one was savage.

Sadly, the sport is dead.

Kirk Muller's dad was there at the bar..? noice haha.

I know jackpoop about boxing, and I'm aware the Paul-Tyson fight isn't a very conventional boxing match, since it involves a basically retired boxer VS a youtuber, but apparently the younger guy knows how to handle himself in the ring, even if he is fundamentally a giant douchebag streamer.

who likes bourbon in here?

this is really good for the price. not overpowering for the high proof either. that would normally be a huge turnoff for me but it doesn't hurt it here.

getchoo some.

it's not a go-to for me but I don't mind at all when a friend offers me a glass, I might buy a bottle if they have any here at the SAQ for next time I see my bourbon-drinking amigos, thanks.

actually I just checked, and the only "old grand dad" I could find was this one, which seems to be cheaper quality

i was actually going to mention this.

it's the same situation on a smaller scale. that is also way better than most bourbons at its price. easier on people who may have been spooked off by the 114 proof of the other one, too. although i guess 100 proof is nothing to sneeze at either. i'd say this is one of my top budget bourbons.

oh well good to hear then.

looking at the comments on the product page people really seem to like it, and it's really cheap, which is a very noice combination to have.

this is weird but i had a premonition that you weren't going to like the pb being in it.

that sucks because the caramel ice cream is good and i don't know if they put it in any other flavors where you could get to taste it.
