I'm not even sure what the numbers mean, was that for the goals total between VAN and EDM?

yes. when the game started it was over 6.5

but there were no goals for the first 5 or 6 mins so it dropped to 5.5 and i took it. i knew the other games in the series had been high scoring so i just figured this one could be too.

Had the plan to takeover the world almost finished, but the shock of your booming voice made me forget most of what I was about to write out.

Time to start over.

Also, good morning.

Canada barely beat the UK 4-2.

It's almost like a team led by John Tavares and PLD might now win everything.

Yup. Love that guy.

I'm glad the Habs didn't hire me to draft Shane Wright for them instead. (Even if he's looking pretty good lately).

If he can develop that agitation / taunting aspect of his game to get under the oppositions skin, that will be fun to watch... cause not a lot of people are big enough to do much about it.

they drafted Slafkovsky because they deemed he would become the most complete player in the long run for the habs, and so far he's only proven them right. he's got size and skill, but also he's got the right attitude to play in a market like MTL, with just the right amount of spunk without being a douchebag.

we should all be inspired by Pastrnak and his blind determination.

Someone's "just the right amount of spunk" is someone else's "douchebag".

Just sayin'.

I get what you're saying, and of course I do have a bias from being a habs fan, but I don't think Slaf has the same kind of douchiness that players like Marchand or Kucherov can have for example.

And it's never enough douchebaggery for Fred.

I like a player that can get under the skin of opponents, so I appreciate that skillset.

Will be interesting to see how far he goes / how effective he is in the NHL at it.

as long as he backs it up with his play and scoring big goals, something the rat and Doucherov do all the time.

hey, if he starts licking his opponent's face and gets booed at the all-star game, then so be it.

Not sure you can be a successful cocky bastard without showing up the opposition with a goal, big hit, or whatever else.

That is what makes the Marchands of the NHL more valuable.

So yeah.
