Just did an in-person interview with 2024 draft prospect Ivan Demidov and he is at least six-feet tall - definitely bigger than listed - Symba007

Marc-Antoine Godin came up with the idea of the pick switch with Columbus as part of a trade for Laine (if), I thought it was a good idea as a potential factor in a trade.
Dvorak could also be part of a deal to offset some salary |

And it might not make the Dvorak trade like a total waste of assets.
I am not sure about Laine in MTL, regardless of the deal. Still think there is a high risk there, the level of risk HuGo seem to be avoiding at all costs - performance, salary cap implication, re-signing, etc... |

yeah depending on the deal it might not be the biggest risk ever, it would be pretty far from the Dubois situation for sure imho.
I think all of those rumors repeatedly being brought up right now (Laine, Zegras, Necas...) most likely won't lead to anything anyway, as Hughes probably has something in the works that barely anyone is anticipating.

Stamkos it is then!
EDIT: I agree, it will be something not reported until either just before or as it is announced. |

I'm not sure if Laine requires babysitting lol, we know he was taking part in the player assistance program but we don't know the reasons behind it.

for sure
Necas, Zegas, Laine, Johnson (CLB), Mercer, Lundel...I fully expect HuGo to come up with something unexpected. |

the only positive I see in this trade is that Habs could flip him in 2 years and probably get more than what they paid.
moving from 5th to 4th OA is a gain. losing Harris, meh.
so the real cost is a late first which they would probably get back in 2 years if they flip him at the tdl. |

or he finds a place where he is comfortable. 6'5" winger than can score, might be interesting to see if the fit is right |

lol, I think the real PTSD would've been from playing under Babcock, dodged a huge (frank)ing bullet there.

I can definitely see him developing chemistry with guys on the habs roster, but yes he has to be in the right mindset.

Isn't he the most famous/popular guy with those initials? JT got like 5.5mil votes, JT's of multiple names make 10-11mil dollars for big NHL teams, but JT the pop star has 300+mil fans across the globe. |
