The hitting is key. As his biggest supporter here, I found him very disengaged this year as it's tough to be a power forward with no power.


Hence why it started getting the nickname AnderReaves in many high level hockey circles

Completely agree. It's like he gave up at some point after his horrible start and being dropped out of the top 6.

It's concerning to see a guy play his way out of a T6 role and instead of playing his way back to it was like "I'll just embrace my new role🤗"

I thought his 1st half of the season was excellent. he couldn't buy a goal but played very well, often being our best forward. that was before Suzuki and Slaf exploded around xmas.
but I agree his 2nd half was horrific. totally unacceptable. that guy needs to meet with Armia's doctor. and fast.
