you know, soul food. there's gonna be a nice old black lady behind the window who calls you baby.

a couple of times we got soul food from a place called aunt berta's and it was really good. i just don't remember what everything was. i do remember that their mac and cheese is better than us whitey's mac and cheese.

I don't think there's an equivalent in French for "soul food", but I guess it would be pretty close to "comfort food"..?

I think we do have those kinds of restaurants/food, there just aren't any direct equivalents in French for that specific wording.


edit: it's probably due to the fact that it's mostly derived from african 'Murican culture, if I'm not mistaken.

they were going to ban new gas vehicles completely in 2035?

isn't that too soon for that kind of thing anyway? i still want one more gas powered car!

we all knew it would never happen, apprantly also if ALL of us ( talking of Quebec) had an electric car tomorrow, the electric system can't support it
