silly question, but I'm guessing you've seen each of these kids play..? pretty cool to do a whole list like that, I'd do the same but it would be 99% random lol.

Galchenyuk was a top-5 candidate the year before his draft season. C'mon!

I liked it too, big kid ... we definitively needed help on the right side of our D.

Still waiting for Craig Button (aka his brother telling him to say it on TV)'s truth to manifest that Mark Jankowski would be the best player in the draft class when he was 26.

If he does like me, he has read most of the mock drafts, draft rankings, players analysis without watching himself much of these guys play. It's all for entertainment, don't have time to scout Jr age players but I find the draft interesting from an evaluation point of view. If NHL teams were drafting at 20yrs old like NFL teams, it would be much easier, at 18yrs old you are basically looking at players still in their development curve, tons of projections/risks.

You should check some 67's games. Really fun and affordable. Hell, the Slush Puppie Centre is a great venue too though a little bit of a hike.

I find it entertaining too as it gives us something to BS about but, in the end, none of us knows what HuGo & Cie are cooking.

Who knows we might trade one of our best D and draft a defenseman, I don't see it as it would push back the time we'd become competitive again ... but with HuGo you never know.

peaking early in your rebuild is often a big problem downstream, I still think they need to add a great forward via the draft and "try" to get someone via trade but not at all cost. Let's be honest, who they drafted last year and who will be drafted this year won't change the product on the ice this up coming season, most of those players will help MTL in 2025, 2026 or even 2027

I haven't seen all these guys play Pat. Alot of them yes. But not all.

Overall, it's an opinion based on numerous reports highlighting these players qualities and attributes, combined with clips I've seen and the type of players they are.

It's mostly for fun really, but I'm always surprised how my batting average isn't any worse than some actual NHL teams.

I will in a few years, kids are still young and my wife tends to work evenings these past 2 years. Once the kids are a bit older, I will drag one or two with me.
