i kind of feel like he'll step away soon. otherwise people can just say he's also unfit to serve so it cancels out. i'm sure that's been explained to him but after this thing today or tomorrow where he's supposed to take live questions he'll probably bomb that and they'll convince him that it's time.

yeah, the way I've understood it is that it's 100% up to him to make the decision, if he says he's staying then no one can do anything about it, which is a bit silly to be honest lol.

but once it sinks in that they definitely can't win if he continues and he's letting down the whole party (and kind of the rest of the world) how could he go on? he's clearly declining. the last 4 years was a long time when you're that age and the next 4 years will be even longer, if you know what i mean. but he seems like the kind of guy who will get it and step aside.
