I don't have the same evaluation of the defensive coverage but where I do agree is that at some point, results will matter and expectations will be higher.

So far, the team has been performing up to expectations so everything is fine. If expectations rise and he fails to make the team play to the expected level, he'll be fired. That's the way it goes with coaches.

they have one more year before they show significant progress but again, if they end up with 5-6 players injured like the past few years, it won't be pretty again this year.

I still think they will draft between 5 and 10 next summer. The talent drafted the past 3 years (except for Slaf) has not arrived to a point where they are ready to contribute.
