I really thought he would be. Because nothing seemed to justify teams not giving that guy even a chance to redeem himself.

There must be something else about him we don't know.

Maybe he's an annoying vegan or something.

I must admit I haven't watched him play all that much.

But some guys are given 2-3-4 chances to find their brain before people give up on them.... he barely had 1 after Anaheim.

It's weird. The dude can still skate in a straight line and shoot. Maybe some time in the K will sort him out like it did for Nichsuhki........oh shiiii

when teams pass on a player, especially a young player, it's often work ethic and or coachable issues. unless the talent is not there, but I dont think that it is the case with Comptois. he has the talent to play in the league.

Weirdly enough that QMJHL draft seems to just be busts Drake Batherson in the 5th round is the best.
