yeah well keep in mind he was a park ranger... when your job has you constantly working in a forest where tall trees and wildlife can be found, the odds of encountering lightning and bears are significantly higher than someone who works in a regular office for example. I mean it's pretty incredible what happened to that dude but it isn't impossible either, to each his own I guess.
