I was trying to help with your mandrill problems and you just went away

Yeah I went to see if they were finally out. Nope.

They will try sending out the Colobus tomorrow (both transfers connect so they can alternate)

now what do you guys know about laptops?

i want a cheap laptop pretty much just for my music (yes, i still use itunes ), and screwing around on the internet.

is this good for $369 american dollars? cause it'll be here thursday.

the 12 GB and the 256 GB numbers were bigger than the other cheap laptops so i thought that was a good thing.

Don't buy that walmart special for what is like 600 CAD+. You can get an i7-8th gen with 16GB 512SSD for under 350.

Yeah, the value of a goalie is really hard to evaluate but I expected more for a Vezina winner than a late 1st round and change.

Colobus shouldn't have an issue, those guys are less of the "sitting around on the ground" type.

meh, it's 25% salary retention, and they're getting a much better goalie.

the only thing that would suck for Ottawa is if Ullmark had no intention at all of staying and walked away after next year.

you get it, is a rental right now. That hurt his value on the market. A late first round pick for a rental is a lot in general in the NHL, I would say even more so for a goalie.

If they keep him, they might need to overpay him cause ottawa kind of sucks balls.

Welcome to the off-season.

Initial Buyout window starts June 27 and ends June 30.

Qualifying offers due to RFA’s by June 30 to retain their rights.

To sign a pending UFA to an 8 year deal, must be signed by June 30.

I feel like a guy like Savard would get the same return on the market, late first and change. One year left to his deal as well.

Main difference is I dont think mtl would need to take a long meh contract back in the deal

well that depends on the discussions that were had, unless everything goes horribly wrong for the senators and they have a really poop season, perhaps they already know they have very good chances of signing him in OTT, so he might not really be a "rental" at all. they've been having goalie issues for a while so he's probably their guy.

Do we have any buyout candidate that would be smart to do? Josh Anderson maybe? I am not a fan of buy outs in general, you are just spreading the problem over the years instead of shorter and quicker

Armia and Dvorak but they have 1yr left, let them play out their last year and try to move them at the TDL.

Gallagher and Anderson have too much time left to buy them out.

Armia had a good season last season in my opinion, and no, you never buy out a guy with one year left on his deal.

pretty sure contenders would like to add him to their d core

if you already have a good team and wants a guy who will block shots and have cup experience, been there done that, you would be smart to add him.

so it would be a late first.

Most late first wont reach the NHL or lets say the % drop at that point
