Using the 2023-2024 season as the barometer,
- 265 GF would put them in the top 10
- 230 GA would place them 6th
Finishing as above likely gets them in.
So grow the GF by 21 while cutting GA by 13.
Improving the Special Teams should go along way towards achieving that, coupled with bounce back years from Tage, Tuch, Cozens, Quinn and additional growth from Peterka and Benson. - IonSabres
Just be steady all year long, stay Healthy. If we can get steady production throughout the lineup they should be close. Bonus will be if 2 or 3 of these guys flourish. |

I wish I could see a 1% of us either staying healthy or getting depth scoring. The top6 is going to have to carry the weight I'd imagine, given the lack of offensive skill in the bottom6, no? |

I think a surprise pick will be made to play LW on the second line and it will not be benson or peterka |

Peterka is probably top line, so if not Benson...Zucker? Are there any other options? |

Benson or Zucker is most likely. Does that move the needle much though? (Zucker scored 14 last year, a third of which were PP goals/Benson got 11) |

I expect Kulich to be at RW. I think a line of
Benson McLeod Kulich could become very dangerous
JJ Tage Tuch
Zucker Cozens Quinn
Benson McLeod Kulich |

Yes and no.
L3 (part of Bottom 6) should be ok with Benson, McLeod and Zucker (assuming he is not in Top 6).
Of course, I also believe implementation of a much better System will help significantly. |

Such complete BS from groups that unequivocally support Hamas. How people cannot fully denounce them and call them out for what they are is beyond me. |

That kinda leavea Kulich, Rosen or Helenius.
Hopefully we don't see that they put Greenway on L3 and Zucker at that 2LW spot. Personally, I see that as more likely.. not that I want is, but it makes the most sense as we sit here today.
Edit: correct 1LW to 2LW. |

Edmonton Oilers
@EdmontonOilers
The #Oilers have announced they will not match contract offer sheets presented by St. Louis to Dylan Holloway & Philip Broberg.
In a separate transaction, Edmonton acquires a 2028 third-round pick & the rights to defenceman Paul Fischer from the Blues. |

With Benson and Zucker on L3, who's the 2LW? If one is up on that higher line, which is probable, you lose that production. Any of the rest aren't offensive talents, to me, so L3 could still struggle to produce. |

So basically the blues felt bad for taking those players.
The Oilers are still over the cap and have been unloading players.
Horrible gming. Darnell Nurse at 9.2 mill is gross

My most recent source update is that Adams does have a couple trade offers for a couple Sabres players.
Krebs not signed yet was a hint and means something.
He can pull the trigger as early as this week |

So expect a 4th rounder coming back our way for the prize of the Eichel trade? That'd be on par with this offseason. |

Lol yeah and then the end to the offseason 😂
It could be a 2 for 1 type trade. I don’t know.
The Sabres front office has gone on vacations recently and took time off.
“Zoom” meetings. So not much in person. |
